Dr. Savatsky is Chief Emeritus, Division of Sports Medicine, Hackensack University Medical Center . He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Association, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.

Dr. Savatsky graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, was a surgical resident at Rush-Presbyterian/ St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He was a Fellow in Orthopedic Research at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. He spent a clinical year there in Sports Medicine with Dr. Russell F. Warren and the late Dr. John L. Marshall. He did his Orthopedic Residency and a Fellowship in Surgical Arthroscopy under Dr. John McGinty.
Dr. Savatsky founded Orthopedic Spine and Sports Medicine Center t in 1988.
