Dr. Schmaus graduated from Columbia and the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr Schmaus completed his residency at Mt. Sinai where he was chief resident before joining Orthopedic Spine and Sports Medicine Center in 1989.
Dr. Schmaus isboard certified both in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as in pain management.
